Marshall County Schools, under the supervision of Susie Baker, consistently provide food to students in need for the weekends.  The areas of Sand Hill, Center McMechen, and Cameron are supported by the churches local to that area.  In Moundsville, the need is still large.  Between Central Elementary and McNinch Elementary, Susie consistently sends food home for between 150 and 170 families each weekend.  During times of no school (snow days, holidays, work stoppage, summer break, etc) the need is magnified.  Moundsville Baptist Church is partnering with Susie Baker and Marshall County Schools to support this ongoing ministry and to love on the children of Moundsville, WV.  Throughout this ministry, we hope to be able to build trust with children and families in need of the Gospel.  This ministry needs support of MBS prayer warriors, but it also needs funding support on an ongoing basis.  The weekly need is a minimum of $200.  The love offering successfully raised $800, and will be used to build a stock of food for Susie, but the need will continue, so ongoing support is appreciated.  For any questions, please contact Corey Young at (304) 281-9750.
