MBC Word of Life Club meets Wednesday nights 6:30pm - 8:00pm in the Children’s Ministry Wing and is for Grades 1st - 5th.  The Olympian/Gopher Buddy Clubs meet during the Fall semester (September-December) and Winter/Spring semester (January-May) each year.

 

Children’s lives are all about change — change that will affect the rest of their lives.

 

What if we could lay down solid biblical principles in their lives, so that they could navigate the rest of their lives fulfilled and having a blast doing the will of God without regrets?  They can!

This process can begin in an environment that is interactive, social, and fun through our Word of Life Olympians & Gopher Buddies programs.

Word of Life Ministries exists to strategically assist and empower those desires and efforts.  Every aspect of the Word of Life program is based upon biblical principles and designed with a changed life in mind.

 

MBC Word of Life Olympian Club, seeks to establish the following Godly principles:

• KNOW - Christ as Savior & Lord (Matthew 28:19-20)

      -  Lead the child to Christ as Savior

• GROW - in their relationship with the LORD (Colossians 1:9-11; 2:6-7)

       -  Teach him or her to know Christ as Lord

       -  Discipleship through developing habits of living based on God's Word

• SHOW - the world the hope of the Gospel through word and deeds

                (Mark 16:15 / Colossians 3:23-24)

        - Opportunities of character-building and Christ-honoring service

 

The program works toward these ideals by involving the children in the following ways:

• Variety of Bible Studies

• Scripture Memorization

• Daily Quiet Time Adventure

• Christian Service

• Achievement & Recognition Awards

• Christian Reading

• Reinforcing Faithful Church Attendance
